In order to enhance environmental awareness, enrich campus life, stimulate innovative thinking and creativity among college students, and promote the spirit of thrift and conservation, the School of Intelligent Engineering held a creative works collection activity called " Ingenuity, Turning Trash into Treasure" on December 4, 2023.

This activity was held in the form of individual participation. Students used discarded items and innovatively transformed them according to their characteristics, aiming to improve their practical hands-on ability and fully demonstrate their unique and innovative thinking. Wood strips, flower paper, and chopsticks became lanterns, instant noodle buckets and hazelnut shells became planters, and express boxes became calendars, giving them a second life. Through this, students deeply understood the importance of conserving resources in daily life.

The judges evaluated the entries based on three criteria: overall presentation, creative design, and environmental protection concepts. They selected one first-prize winner, two second-prize winners, and three third-prize winners.

The successful implementation of this activity not only enhanced students' environmental awareness but also stimulated their enthusiasm for innovation and practical abilities. At the same time, the activity greatly promoted students' understanding of "waste reuse", deepened their practice of low-carbon and green living concepts, and laid a foundation for creating an excellent educational environment.
